Host intro: Arizonans have a love-hate relationship with elk. They’re majestic animals, but they cause accidents on highways, compete with livestock for food, and now they’re threatening another symbol of the Mountain West – the aspen tree. Arizona Public Radio’s Mitch Teich reports.
